We’ve decided that it would make much more sense to give you a bank holiday party in August rather than a Thursday night soiree in September.

We’re working on the finer details right now, but rest-assured, it will be a great way to waste that extra lie-in on the Monday morning you have been given.

We’ve got DJs Uncle Jane, Dubbledee and Philly confirmed. We’ll also be having a selection of free shots to give away and plentiful treats.

What: A night of sophisticated bank holiday tomfoolery for metrosexual women and friends

When: Sunday 29th August from 8pm

Where: The Penthouse, 1 Leicester Square, London WC2

Door: £5 before 10pm, £8 thereafter if on the guestlist otherwise £8/£10

It’s the Lounge end of season sale

That means that for August everyone will be £5 all night.

To take advantage of this wonderful event, you need to be on the guestlist. If you’re not on the list (which you have absolutely no excuse not to be) it’s £8.

You can’t get more simple than that.

Oh, and we’ve been clearing out our cupboards. So we’ve got a few bottles of shots and beers to be giving away. We might even lay on some nibbles, but fear not, we’ll be checking the use by date. No one wants to nibble on an old piece of cheese of a Thursday evening, do they?
